Wolomi is a maternal health startup based in Washington, D.C with an office in Orlando, Florida. We are a woman-led team of strategists passionate about empowering women of color on their pregnancy and motherhood journey. What You'll Do:

• You will also work cross-functionally with the clinical operations, product, tech, and business teams to innovate and build our tech-enabled program

• Provide one-on-one virtual lactation care via text, app messaging, phone and video calls

• Teach group classes and facilitate support groups

• Assist with the development and testing of patient engagement strategies

• Develop creative patient-facing content, guideline-based clinical protocols and efficient workflows

What We're Looking For:

• IBCLC certification through the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners

• Fluent in English and Spanish

• Must be a self starter, energetic and passionate about supporting BIPOC moms during pregnancy and postpartum

• Enthusiasm for promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of Wolomi’s internal and external programs

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and follow through on multiple projects in a timely manner

• Facile with email, spreadsheets, EHRs, and other commonly used software, and willingness to work with new software

• A growth mindset, coupled with the ability to think critically and work both independently and collaboratively, able to adapt and thrive in a changing (startup) work environment as needed
