JR. ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (SALES)

Wolomi is a maternal health startup based in Washington, D.C with an office in Orlando, Florida. We are a woman-led team of strategists passionate about empowering women of color on their pregnancy and motherhood journey. We are a diverse and inclusive team of dreamers with a passion for improving women of color maternal health outcomes.

 

Wolomi is looking for a Business Associate in Sales that is passionate about growing leads, following up and closing leads. This position is remote but will need to be able to attend in person meetings with the manager (Orlando) as needed.

What You'll Do:

  •  Manage the entire sales process, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding and managing existing accounts

  •  Demo the product to potential leads

  • Support and follow new customers during the whole onboarding process, advising them on how to utilize the software based on their needs, audience, and business plan

  • Develop strong customer relationships promoting satisfaction, retention, and loyalty

  •  Identify customers with low-performing campaigns, investigate the reasons and suggest solutions

  • Work with colleagues to ensure the highest quality of service is delivered to all clients and prospects so all relevant requests are handled correctly

  •  Work with CRMs to maintain accurate records of all customer details, dialog and sales opportunities

  •  Help in recommending and implementing sales strategies and implementations

What We're Looking For:

  • A self starter who is a people person.

  • Outstanding team player, love life, enjoy solving problems and helping people

  • Ability to work in a startup environment (constantly changing and wearing multiple hats).

  • Mandatory are exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to comprehensively manage leads, and aspire to grow intellectually, professionally and monetarily as their skills get honed to the job

  •  2+ years achieving success in one or more of the following: Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Product, or Marketing.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and solid computer skills

  • Experience working within the technology industry

  • Ability to travel to conferences

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business major is preferred)

  • The job is remote but living in the Orlando or Tampa area is preferred

  • Passion about improving maternal health (a plus)

  • Familiarity with health insurance and employer benefits (a plus)
