Amarachi Eseonu is currently a Transplant Dermatology and Cutaneous Oncology fellow at Johns Hopkins. She was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, and is the last of four children to two Nigerian immigrants. For college, she attended Harvard University, where she majored in Biomedical Engineering. After college, she attended the University of Pittsburgh Medical School and later trained in Dermatology at Johns Hopkins University. She has special interests in caring for immunosuppressed transplant patients as well as patient education.
